The meeting of the Mission Hills Neighborhood Council on Tuesday, Aug. 12, became quite animated when the proposed development of property located on 10240 Sepulveda Blvd. was brought up.
Speakers at the meeting raised their concerns about the possible adverse effects on the community by the proposed four-story, affordable, multi-family and senior housing.
Speakers also noted that many Mission Hills residents did not receive notification of an open forum held on July 5 by Future Vision Development Group at the request of the Mission Hills Zoning and Land-Use Committee to discuss concerns about the project.
It was noted that of the167 mailers sent to homeowners in close proximity to the project, 34 were returned undeliverable.
