Help save four state parks in Valley region
Contributed by: Leonard Horowitz on 1/21/2008

Our Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has proposed to close four state parks within the Valley region.

They are Los Encinos Historic State Park in Encino on Ventura Boulevard, Topanga Canyon State Park, Santa Susana Pass and Will Rogers Historic State Park.

We need these open spaces and historic parks. Our enviroment is over-crowded and the green space helps our air. The cost to the citizens of the Valley will be much higher than the cost the governor will save for California.

We must all react to this proposal. I urge you to email the governor and ask him to reconsider closure.
