L.A. Galaxy surprises AYSO Region 71 with visit

As part of every fall season, youth soccer players have group photos taken of each division for American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) Woodland Hills Region 71.

While it sounds like a typical photo day of waiting in line, combing your hair and smiling for the camera, this year was different as Los Angeles Galaxy defenders Sean Franklin and Michael Gavin made a surprise visit to Shadow Ranch Park.

What an incredible surprise for the youth soccer players and families that had gathered in the park.

The appearance of the two professional soccer players was thrilling to kids of all ages because many of the youth soccer players and their families attended the previous night's L.A. Galaxy game.

In fact, the Saturday night game marked a huge win for the Galaxy against D.C. United with a score of 5-2. The professional Galaxy game was filled with drama and action that brought cheers from the packed stadium.

Coming off their huge win, Franklin and Gavin both chatted happily with the youth soccer players while signing soccer balls, T-shirts and Galaxy player cards. They also welcomed parental photographers who wanted to capture their kids with soccer stars.

With the appearance of the Galaxy players, it marked one of the best photo days for the youth soccer players as the surprise was met with pure excitement.
