Young Champions, a non-profit organization based in Orange County, offers youth cheerleading classes throughout Southern California.

The spring classes just took home four first-place trophies at their session-ending competition.

These classes are designed for students age 5-15. One of their cheerleading locations is in Northridge. Classes are held on Saturday mornings at the Valley Foursquare Church, located at 19416 Business Center Drive in Northridge.

The fall session starts Saturday, Sept. 27. Class times are as follows:

Beginning students, ages 5-7 - 10 - 10:40 a.m.
Beginning students, ages 8-15 -10:45 - 11:25 a.m.
