Chatsworth Seniors meeting at Mason Park

Chatsworth Seniors, the group that started last September at Chatsworth Park South, is currently meeting two days a week at Mason Park, 10500 Mason Avenue. The group meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Offered are two fine exercise classes taught by Helen Walker - chair exercises and line dancing. The classes are held both Monday and Wednesday.

Elaine Ridnor teaches an oil painting class on Wednesdays from 9:30-11:45 a.m.

All three classes have openings for more students.

A body-conditioning class will be offered with an instructor from El Camino Adult Education as soon as the quota of 25 prospective students has been reached.

Seniors are still awaiting the Department of Aging's hot lunch program that they enjoyed at the other local park, which is still closed.

In the meantime, they are bringing their own brown bag lunches.
