The Innovative Design of the Mia Princessa Faucet Line Will Capture the Hearts and Sinks of Pet Owners Everywhere
Valencia, CA July 11, 2008 -- Pamela Ruckelshausen, an avid dog-lover has designed the world's first doggy faucet, which she named the Mia Princessa. The faucet looks like a dog, complete with head, eyes, ears and a mouth. According to a recent survey conducted by dogloversmonthly.com, 69.5% of participating pet lovers said they would purchase this faucet for their home. An additional 12.4% agreed with the statement that "Every groomer should have one." And 11.4% said they liked the design but prefer a different breed than the one modeled. Only 6.7% of participants disliked the faucet saying it looked scary.
According to Ruckelshausen, the faucet is a loving tribute to our four-legged friends around the globe. "Dogs play a pivotal role in human happiness," Ruckelshausen said. "The Mia Princessa will enable people to demonstrate their love for their pets in a unique and fashionable way."
Since designing her first faucet, Ruckelshausen has started her own company, Mia Princessa & Brothers LLC. She elected her 4 miniature Dachshunds, Rucks, Will, Brownie & Mia as the honorary president and vice presidents. "Our mission is simple and straightforward," says Ruckelshausen. "We want to get pet owners running to their sinks. I have no doubt that the innovative design of the Mia Princessa will capture the hearts and sinks of pet owners everywhere by presenting a faucet as special as their four-legged family members."
But there's just one thing preventing pet owners from running out and buying their own doggy faucet -- the faucet is not yet available for retail. At this point, Ruckelshausen is eagerly searching for a manufacturer to produce the faucet. She says it can be manufactured as a whole faucet, or simply as a faucet head, which would fit on any existing pullout faucet.
Ruckelshausen is also looking to raise funds to finance the project. So if you're a pet lover who's eager to get your hands on this doggy faucet -- you can donate towards its production. If your corporation would like to sponsor the project, you can contact Pamela Ruckelshausen at (661) 373-3620, or email miaprincessa-bros @ att.net. According to Ruckelshausen, long-term sponsors will receive partial management of this venture.
