Sun Valley Area Neighborhood Council elections

The Sun Valley Area Neighborhood Council (SVANC) will have our election for new board members at 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.on Saturday, April 5, at John H. Francis Polytechnic High School.
At the present time we are actively seeking candidates to run for this election. The deadline to file your application March 6.
If you live, work, own property, or are a member of an organization within the SVANC boundaries then you can vote in our election and you are eligible to run for a seat on the board of directors.
Our boundaries include all 91352 zip codes and parts of the 91504 and 91505 zip codes within the city of Los Angeles limits, except for:
A) The area known as La Tuna Canyon bordered on the north and south by the ridgeline beginning at Highway I-210 to Sunland Boulevard.
B) The area known as Shadow Hills from Wentworth on the west to Sunland Boulevard. On the south to Stonehurst Avenue on the north and a line from the intersection of Stonehurst Avenue and Sunland Boulevard to the intersection of Wentworth Avenue and Sheldon Sreett.
You can help determine the future of the Sun Valley area. We need candidates!
We have 12 board seats open for candidates in this election:
*Four seats available in the residential stakeholder category
* Four seats available in the business/property owner category
*Four seats available in the at-large stakeholder category
Candidate filing forms are available at the Sun Valley Area Chamber of Commerce located at 8133 San Fernando Road, Sun Valley.
