FIRE in Little Tujunga Canyon

Fire in rugged hillside area of Little Tujunga Canyon, near Sunland Ca. 91040. Kagel Canyon, Lopez Canyon homes evacuated. Riverwood Ranch community threatened. Moderate winds fan brush fire to over750 acres since being reported at 0200 am this Sunday morning 12 October 2008. Fire visible from homes in nearby community of Sunland, wind direction threatens to push flames into populated area, no reports on cause of fire as yet, no wider evacuation orders so far. Reports of 250 firefighters on the scene.
