Nine-month-old
Nicolas Michael Vargas
of Reseda was not waterboarded on Saturday, Aug. 16, however he was baptized at Saint Catherine of Siena Church on Sherman Way in Reseda.
His loving parents,
Ana
and
Tony Vargas
, watched their second son get baptized. In Christianity, baptism is the sacramental act of cleansing in water that admits one as a full member of the church.
Holding Nicolas is godmother
Jacqueline Torres
and to her right is his godfather
Jesus Alvarez
.
Following the baptism, the family posed for pictures and returned to the Vargas home for some great food and a huge family celebration.
