The Leonis Adobe Museum and Valley Cultural Center are linking up with each other to benefit residents who join the VCC at the $100 level and higher during 2008.
New Valley Cultural Center members will receive a family membership for two adults and up to four children to the Leonis Adobe Museum that will entitle them to free admission to the museum for one year.
"The membership includes our annual events -Springtime at the Adobe, Children's Summer Round-Up program, the Halloween Pumpkin Party and Holiday Open House," said
Don Adams, past president of the museum.
They will also receivediscounts to the museum's special events including a Fiesta, with a fabulous salsa band fro 6-11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, and amurder mystery dinner from 6-10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27.

The Valley Cultural Center will show the museum's DVD titled "Share The Legend, The Story of the Leonis Adobe" on Saturday, Aug. 9, when its movie series will present the legendary film "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid."
The Valley Cultural Center, with its concert series and movies at Warner Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., serves the San Fernando Valley as the prominent resource in promoting the performing and visual arts.
Its mission is to entertain, enrich and educate current and future generations.
The Leonis Adobe Museum is an historical monument and living history museum dedicated to restoring, preserving and sharing California ranch life in the late 1800s.
The property includes Plummer House, an example of a middle-class Victorian home; a working ranch with sheep, goats, horses, turkeys, roosters, chickens and doves; vineyards, blue corn and pumpkin crops; farm equipment and wagons; and a water pump, well and windmill.
