Employees from both companies personally delivered all 150 frozen turkeys to the BTAC office at 1304 West Burbank Blvd. on Monday Nov. 19 at noon, using FSL's 1942 Mack Pumper Fire Engine, for transport.

According to Justin Aldi, CEO of FSL, "Since FSL and Windermere are both landmark Burbank businesses, we knew that together we could really make a positive difference in the lives of some of our fellow Burbankians this holiday season. We decided to do that by giving back to those who need a little support right now."

Continuing, Aldi said that he and Bill Toth then "decided to offer our employees the opportunity to contribute to a fund set up to purchase the turkeys, but the choice to do so was completely optional."

"We were overwhelmed by the positive response we had from all of our associates and colleagues!" Aldi said. "Even now, when the housing and mortgage markets are a little leaner than in past years, our teams rushed to give back to their fellow Burbank residents."

He added "I feel very lucky - as I know Bill does - to have such socially conscious and community-minded professionals working with us."

The donation will indeed make a positive difference for many Burbank families, according to BTAC's Executive Director, Barbara Howell. "Windermere and FSL are doing a tremendous service to the Burbank community through this donation," she said. "Their efforts to help those in need of assistance during this holiday season are earmarks of true leadership in the Burbank community."
