Sunshine Senior Club installation

On Thursday, Jan. 25, the Sunshine Senior Club had a sit-down luncheon forits installation of officers.

The club's president, Lillian Scharf, was elected president for her 20th year.

Wendy Greuel, L.A. Councilwoman from the 2nd District, attended in order to make a special presentation.

Lillian began her years of service working in the kitchen for the Adat Ariel Seniors. Afterthree years, she undertook the job of president. Thinking this was for a mere six months, Lillian continued to be voted in as president through the club's move to The Jewish Community Center, wherethe groupbecame the Sunshine Seniors and remains there today.

After lunch there was plenty of singing and dancing while musical entertainment was provided by Rick and Wendy.
