The Bryants of Granada Hills are 'Golden'

After Paper (one year), Tin (10 years), Crystal (15 year) and Silver (25 years), Bill and Charlyn Bryant have finally reached their "Golden Anniversary."

Fifty years of marriage is a lot of memories to share, such as births, deaths, graduations, weddings, ups and downs, tears and laughter, but mostly happiness with their three children, Kathy, Karen and Danny and their two granddaughters, Stacy and Summer.

Married on Sept. 27, 1958, at St. Marks Catholic Church in Venice, they met in 1955. Bill graduated from Venice High School in 1954. Charlyn graduated in 1957 from St. Monicas High. They both were raised in Venice and have lived in their home in Granada Hills for more than 40 years.

In his younger years, Bill served in the U.S. Army for 18 months. He recently retired from his work as a general contractor. Charlyn retired from LAUSD, where she was a cafeteria server.

They celebrated with dinner at the Safari Room in Granada Hills.
