TODAY'S TOPIC: If you could design any kind of bedroom you wanted, what would it look like?

If I could have a new bedroom, I would make it so much better. It would have autographed pictures, posters and signed jerseys of all athletes. I would have the perfect sports room. I would have a sports bed with basketballs, baseballs and footballs on the sheets. I would have a shelf for all of my signed balls. I would have signed basketballs, baseballs and footballs. Clearly, it would be the coolest room ever.

If I could design any room, I would want to make it a Pretty in Pink room. The reason for that is because I love pink. I think pink is the prettiest color in the world. I would put pink little candies everywhere in little Chinese boxes. I would make a whole wall made out of fabric. My bedroom would be really big and I would put colors all over the place. My headboard would be made out of flowers that are shaped like hearts. The smell of my room would be a light smell mixed with strawberries and watermelon candy. I would have jewelry hanging from my room. The last thing I would do is I would put my drawings on the walls.

I would like an army colored room because I like the army. If I choose my type of furniture, I would choose a couch of a black and gray color. I will also have green bean bags to sit on. I would like to have tank pillows and a blanket to be army guys. I will have a green TV.

If I could redesign my room, I would have a king-size bed. I would have my room painted yellow. I would have a chair and a X-Box 360! I would have a dresser for my clothes and a desk for a computer. I like to collect skateboards called Teck Deck and I would have ramps for them. I would want to have a Halo 3! I hope my design comes true because it sounds awesome!

If my mom let me design my own bedroom, it would be the best bedroom ever. I would have so many posters. I would have a poster of football and one of the movie "The Game Plan." I would also have a poster of a puppy. I would have a huge bed. Its sheets would have shooting stars on it. My pillow would have the moon on it. I would also have colorful walls. My walls would be orange. They would have happy faces on them. That would be the perfect room for me.

My bedroom would be so awesome! It would have a flat screen TV with a PlayStation and a bed that has blue colored sheets. It would have a mat that is pink and a door that says, "Only Girls Allowed, So Get Out!" It would have walls that are painted blue green and pink polka dots all over it and with a fan on the top of the ceiling. I would also have a huge closet and I would have all of my stuffed animals on my bed and a poster of a dog on the wall. That would probably be the best bedroom a girl could ever have!

My dream room would have white with red polka dots on the carpet and a pink see-through water bed. A plasma TV only has my favorite shows like the Disney Channel. There are two puppies running around and their names are Linda and Nick. On the ceiling, the Salvador flag is there. There is a bathroom with a big sink and two bath tubs, one that is gold and the other is silver. A machine that paints your nails is also in my room. Lastly, there is a nice, thick cover on my bed.

If I could design my room, I will have a 120-inch plasma screen TV and an X-Box 360 and the new PlayStation 3. My other electronics I'd have would be a mini-fridge and on top of it, a mini-hot dog maker. Pretty cool? Next, I will have a flag of Mexico in the floor and a king-size bed with car pillows because in the future I want to be the best car racer in the world. My collectibles, I would have 200 car magazines.

My bedroom is not perfect but if I could make it perfect this is what I would do. I would put a giant flat screen TV in the wall! I would also have a big desk for my work and a computer. I would have a kitchen, too, because I love to cook and invent new types of food. It would have a blender, toaster, microwave and a refrigerator. Then I could do my work in the kitchen whenever I wanted.

I will have a computer next to my bed. My TV will be a big one and in front of my bed. My carpet will be pink. My closet will be on the wall, filled with my clothes. I will have a shelf with my jewelry and my things.

This room I'm going to design is going to be fantastic. The first thing I'm going to put in is a flat screen TV, three lava lamps, an X-Box 360 and a computer. Next, I would put in furniture like two massage chairs, two tables, guitar and a spinning bed. Then I would do a collection of stuff like two large fish tanks by the spinning bed. Last but not least is the decorations will look like you're in Hollywood and red curtains will be hanging from two windows. Just wait till they see this room!

If I could design a bedroom for myself, I would have a dance theme. I would have a ballet bar and a pair of jazz shoes because jazz is my favorite, besides tap and stretch and turns. I would put a lap top that's pink with a matching TV, too. My bed would look like a tap show that is pink with purple polka dots and little stars. My door would have beds that say "Dance" on them. My walls would be covered with light pink paint and posters of great dancers. My room would have a spot for tap shoes. I would have a walk-in closet. In my closet, I would have an accessories spot for my accessories. When my friends come over, I take out my snow machine and play Barbies in the snow and jump on my water bed. I have a stage in my bedroom, too.

If I were to design my room, it would have a 20-inch plasma screen TV. It would also have a beautiful, white dresser that has two monkeys carved on the drawers.A big closet to hang up my sweaters and put my shoes in. A little white table beside my bed. A bathroom inside my room, with a marble floor. I would paint my room light purple. I'd have a lamp on my little table. In my bathroom, on the floor, I'd have a little, light purple rug, a shower and a sink. On the wall, there would be a portrait of me. Next to my bathroom door, I would put a white desk and on top of it there would be a white computer. A little doghouse would be beside my bed where my little white puppy named Sosha would sleep.

If I were to design a room, it would be bright, pretty and blue. It would have beautiful blue ribbons all around. And it would have a blue water bed with a pretty blue decorated net around it. I would also have a humongous blue television, pretty blue walls and a white slide and a blue slide coming from my bed and leading out my window. The white slide leads to my hot tub and the blue slide leads to my pool. They would also be good for sneaking out. Last but not least, it would have a fuzzy blue carpet that is as soft as a feather.

COMING UP: What will you be for Halloween? Do you like scary, funny or beautiful costumes? Draw a picture of yourself in your Halloween costume.

Parents and teachers should make sure that the student's name, address, age and school are CLEARLY PRINTED on the letters and the backs of drawings.

Pictures should be drawn using black or dark blue ink or dark pencil on white, unlined paper. Drawings must be no larger than a standard, 8 1/2-by-11-inch sheet of paper.

The deadline is Oct. 23 and letters will be posted Oct. 30.

Letters received after the deadline cannot be considered.
