Senator Padilla to Host Foreclosure Prevention Workshop

Will bring homeowners and mortgage companies together to explain options and prevent foreclosures

Senator Alex Padilla will be hosting a Foreclosure Prevention Workshop on Saturday, March 15 in the city of San Fernando. The goal of the workshop is to prevent foreclosures by bringing together struggling homeowners and mortgage companies. On hand will be representatives of a variety of mortgage companies, credit counselors and loan servicers offering on-site assistance and information on options available to homeowners.

A few of the mortgage companies scheduled to have representatives at the event include: Bank of America, Countrywide Home Loans, Freddie Mac, HomeEq Servicing, Indymac, Washington Mutual and Wells Fargo, among others.
