There was a plethora of gifts for the new Valentine's Queen,
Shari Markwith
, long- time member of the Sylmar Woman's Club. Shari's name was drawn randomly, a tradition of the club at its February luncheon. She was robed with cape, crown and scepter by former Queens!
It was a delightful , fun time.
If you are interested in joining the club's activities, come to a luncheon meeting at the Odyssey restaurant on the second Wednesday of the month. Next month
Luva Coulson
will speak on adult literacy.
