Greening our Neighborhood is this year's theme for the 5th Annual Canoga Park Saint Patrick's Day Community March and Celebration.

As preparations begin for this years Saint Patrick's Day Community March and Celebration, which will be on Saturday, March 17.

Mary Paterson, Chairperson of the event is excited. This year we are turning a corner in Canoga Park and looking toward the future. In the past our celebrations have brought the community out to show that together we can rid the area of graffit, crime and litter.This year we are inviting everyone to join us in our walk and in our efforts to "Green" Canoga Park.

The march will begin in front of the Madrid Theatre (21622 Sherman Way) at
1:00 p.m. and we will walk through Main Street Canoga Park to the Follow Your Heart Parking lot (21825 Sherman Way). Everyone who joins us gets to march along with us in this wacky sidewalk extravaganza following Bag Pipers, Drummers, Leprechauns, True Thomas the Storyteller and of course Saint Patrick.
At the end of the march thre will be live music and refreshments with prizes. Come and be part of the magic and learn what you can do to help create and maintain a sustainable environment for generations to come.
