Dedicate a Tree!
Send a Gift That Fits Everyone On Your List!
Los Angeles-TreePeople announces the return of its popular Holiday Tree Dedication program. Through TreePeople's "Gift of Life" Tree Dedication program, holiday shoppers can order a gift that will last for generations and benefit the environment. A tree is always the right size, never goes out of style, doesn't need wrapping, spares shoppers a trip to the mall and curbs the greenhouse effect. According to the International Society of Arboriculture, a single mature tree can absorb the amount of carbon produced by a car driven 26,000 miles.
For each $25 tax-deductible donation, a tree will be dedicated in honor of those on holiday gift lists, including family, friends, co-workers and clients. A beautiful, personalized holiday card will be sent to the recipient announcing the gift. For a $100 contribution, TreePeople will send an inscribed certificate to the recipient, announcing that a grove of five trees has been dedicated. Certificates may be framed with a handsome recycled wood frame for an additional $30.
Thousands of trees are planted each year through TreePeople's "Gift of Life" Tree Dedication program. With financial support from this program, TreePeople staff and volunteers work with several land managment agencies to restore the mountains and park woodlands of Southern California.

TreePeople's mission is to inspire the people of Los Angeles to take personal responsibility for the urban forest-educating, training and supporting them as they plant and care for trees and improve the neighborhoods in which they live, work and play. For more information, visit
