Leading oncologist to speak about new discoveries

Sheldon Davidson, M.D., will discuss the history and future of cancer research, new and upcoming cancer treatments and ways to control treatment side effects.

Cancer patients, their family and friends are welcome to attend the event from6-8:30 p.m., on Oct 25 at The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura, 530 Hampshire Rd., Westlake Village.

A light dinner will be served immediately before Davidson's presentation.

Dr. Davidson is a clinical professor at UCLA School of Medicine, affiliated with Bowyer Multidisciplinary Oncology Clinic, Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, and practices community oncology at Leavey Cancer Center, Northridge.
