Temple Beth Hillel is hosting two open house events - Aug. 10 and 31 at the Temple - with Friday night Shabbat services, featuring the temple's Member of the Tribe band, followed by a social event in which guests can learn about the temple and its many activities.

The temple is located at 12326 Riverside Drive in Valley Village.

Here are the specifics:

The Aug. 10 open house will start at 6 p.m. with a Community Shabbat Dinner in the social hall. Please call the office at (818) 763-9148 for reservations.

At 7:30 p.m., there will beShabbat services in the Bauman Sanctuary.

After services, celebrate with an Oneg Shabbat and visit information booths with details about temple activities and groups.

The Aug. 31 open house will start at 6 p.m. with a "Shabba-Que" dinner, sponsored by Sisterhood and Brotherhood. Please call the office at (818) 763-9148 for reservations.

At 7:30 p.m., there will be Shabbat services in the Bauman Sanctuary.
