On June 21, Western Beauty Institute's graduation ceremonies and dinner were held at the world-renowned Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City.

Graduate students, their families and friends, other students, WBI instructors and staff from all campuses were in attendance to celebrate their most wonderful achievement.

Everyone was serenaded by a mariachi band, a tradition in long standing at WBI, while everyone was seated and a fabulous dinner was served.

There were many hugs, smiles, laughter and tears of joy as the crowd settled in.

After the dinner service, the graduates exited to put on their caps and gowns for a group photograph taken on the curved staircase of the Sportsmen's Lodge by Randy Fugate, the lodge's director marketing,and to make their grand entrance as 2008 graduates.

Digital cameras, video cameras and camera phones clicked and whirred, recording this special family occasion. Their loved ones had finally made it and were ready to step out into the world of beauty for a new adventure.

Awards were given for perfect attendance and scholastic excellence as well as recognition for those who had already passed the State Board examination.

Each instructor was there to congratulate one and all as was the CEO of Western Beauty Institute, Christina Diaz.
