Guitarist, singer and songwriter Alastair Greene has been a mainstay of the Southern California music scene for nearly two decades.

He has played with a multitude of artists, the best known being Alan Parsons, Aynsley Dunbar ( John Mayall, Journey, Frank Zappa), and Mitch Kashmar (WAR).

The Alastair Greene Band will perform locally at Cozy's, 14058 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks, at 9 p.m. Thursday, May 15.

Greene is currently laying down tracks in the studio for his new CD with renowned blues harmonica player Mitch Kashmar (who's on tour with WAR), bassist Jim Rankin and drummer Tom Lackner.
