What:
Keri Dearborn
will give a talk on the status of the Island Fox from 11 a.m.-1 pm. Saturday, June 8, at the Woodland Hills Branch Library, 22200 Ventura Blvd., Woodland Hills.
Dearborn is a member of the Friends of the Island Fox, which supports efforts to save the this fox from extinction.
The Island Fox is native to six of the eight Channel Islands of California and is considered endangered due to diminishing food supply and natural enemies, especially the Golden Eagle.
Admission is free.
