I just returned from one of my most rewarding trips! Since following our USA Olympic Water Polo team for the last seven months, the temptation was too great not to find my way to Beijing so that I could witness greatness and history.

Watching our Olympic team getting silver medals hung around their necks gave me goose bumps. The end of a journey for several players and the beginning for others.

I have had the privilege of submitting blogs on behalf of Terry Schroeder over the last seven months and must say it has been a lot of fun, especially to see the readership and support for our team from you, the loyal blog reader.

The blogs were very well read not only locally but nationally and worldwide. I have received e-mail from as far away as South Africa.

I know many blog readers are probably wondering what next or what happens now to USA Water Polo! Good news. The players will be providing me with their favorite Olympic Games story and plans for their futures.

That will be appearing here as soon as it is available. I will also be posting my pictures from the Olympics' over the next few weeks.

This was an important milestone and we owe it to the players and coaches not to let the moment of celebration slip away as we all tackle other issues in the world.

In the meantime, I want to thank everyone on Terry Schroeder's behalf for your support.
