I'm an ex-New Yorker living the California dream. Have been locating old friends and alumni for our 37th high school reunion from Martin Van Buren, Queens Village, NY. Reunion is Oct 6, 2007 in Manhattan - check out our website www.mvb1970.com and you can register for the gala reunion event. Hope to find some old friends from graduating classes 1969, 1970, 1971-72, etc. and who lived in Glen Oaks,or attended JHS 172 or PS 186. I will also offer advice for any one interested in putting together their own reunion or finding your old friends or flames via internet websites. We've found over 500 alumni, friends and teachers across the country and in Europe. We had over 1300 alumni from 1970 alone so we have lots of work to still do. If you have any friends, neighbors or co-workers who grew up in Queens, NY and are 50-56 years old-- ask them about Martin Van Buren and send them to the website. The more the merrier.
