Get rid of those ubiquitous advertising trailers
Contributed by: Mike Wiener on 7/3/2007

They're all over the Valley. Small trailers sitting in the street, carrying advertising for such things as alarms and health clubs. Some of them have been in the same place for more than a year. What's worse is that their numbers are increasing. You can hardly drive more than a milr or two on a main street without seeing one of them.

If nothing is done to stop them, they'll be in every neighborhood. Goodness knows, I've tried. Numerous calls to the traffic people have resulted in -- nothing. A promise by Councilman Dennis Zine's staffer to do something has not resulted in any action.

Yet there they sit. Week after week, month after month, defying the law that requires that vehicles in the street be moved every few days. Visual pollution at its worst.

Somebody help!
