Why, oh why can't a nice burrito joint move into the shuttered Cousin's Subs shop near the Starbucks just east of Van Nuys and Burbank boulevards.

Hey, business community -- when "boulevards" meet, that means money in the bank. Just ask Starbucks, which opens at some ungodly hour, like 4 a.m., just to satisfy the caffeinated cravings of Southeast Van Nuys.

I don't know what they're charging for rent, but you can count on me for about eight burritos a month, know what I'm sayin'?

And if you're a bagel or doughnut shop, I won't spit in your eye. But I really want a burrito.

And if you're hungry right now, this is a pretty good one.
