A lovely outdoors weekend in Calabasas!

This week at the King Gillette Ranch and Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve in Calabasas, we have free public programs!

King Gillette Ranch is located at 26800 Mulholland Hwy, Calabasas.

ULV is located at the dead end of Victory Boulevard, near its intersection with Valley Circle.

Nature's Grocery Store:(King Gillette Ranch)
Join us at King Gillette Ranch at 10 a.m. Feb. 23 for a Discover Hike! We will visit Nature's Grocery Store, with shopping list in hand. Surviving in a wilderness is easy if you know where and how to shop! Meet at the lawn overlooking the pond. This easy walk will last one and half to two hours.

Owl, Masters of the Night! (King Gillette Ranch)
Join us at the King Gillette Ranch at 6 p.m. Feb. 23 for a twilight walk called "Owls:Masters of the Night!" Super night-vision, excellent hearing, and deadly claws make owls the masters of the nighttime world. Meet at the lawn overlooking the pond. This easy walk will last one and a half to two hours.

Sensational Senses: (Upper Las Virgenes)

Join us at the Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve at 6 p.m. Feb. 23 for aTwilight Walk! Nocturnal predators use their ears, eyes, noses and skin to explore their world of darkness. On this easy walk, we will learn all about these animals' sensational senses! Meet at the Victory entrance. The walk will last one and a half to two hours.
