Explore the canyon by moonlight on a moderately strenuous hike. Look and listen for Franklin's Canyon wildlife, and enjoy a spectacular view of the stars and city from atop the canyon trail. Lots of fun for all ages! Meet at the Franklin Canyon Ranch Site lower parking lot near restrooms in Franklin Canyon Park on February 21 stat 7pm for this exciting hike!! Program will last two hours.

How often do they do these night hikes? My Boy Scout troop tried to do a night hike once, but it got too elaborate and the site chosen wasn't ideal so it got canceled. I'm sure they'd like to give it another try, but they plan a year-long calendar each May. If this is something Franklin's Canyon does on a consistent basis, maybe they'll choose this one.
