This weekend we have several programs at Franklin Canyon Park!! Don't miss out!!


Evening Birds and other Creatures of the Night
: The Canyon is full of activity when the sun goes down. Learn about this hidden nocturnal world on a casual sunset stroll around Franklin Canyon Lake. Meet at the Sooky Goldman Nature Center in Franklin Canyon Park on January 12 th at 4:30pm. Bring binoculars. 2 hrs.


Silent Night Walk
: Join us at the Franklin Canyon Ranch in Franklin Canyon Park on January 12 th at 7pm for a Silent Night Walk! Enjoy the symphony of Franklin Canyon's nightlife while appreciat­ing the inner wisdom of your own melody of thoughts. Prepare for a moderate to strenuous walk with a group of individuals who wish to expand their wilderness awareness skills on a wordless journey. Please wear sturdy shoes or boots and bring water and a flashlight. 2hrs.


Fitness Hike
: Join us at the Sooky Goldman Nature Center in Franklin Canyon Park on January 13 th at 9am for a Fitness Hike!!! Get movin' with fitness enthusi­ast MRCA volunteer Zahava on this moderate hike and measure your progress by working your way up to a more vigorous pace. Begin­ners welcome - bring water and your dog if you like. Wear workout/hiking shoes. Rain cancels. 2hrs.


The Faces of Franklin Canyon
: Join us at the Sooky Goldman Nature Center in Franklin Canyon Park on January 13 th at 10am for the Faces of Franklin Canyon. Find out who William Mulholland, Sooky Goldman and other influential faces of Franklin Canyon Park are!!!


Photo Fun in Franklin Canyon
: Join us at the Sooky Goldman Nature Center in Franklin Canyon Park on January 13 th at 2pm for some Photo Fun in Franklin Canyon!! Capture the moment with an experienced photographer who will guide you to finding unique views and photo opportunities in nature!
