Santa Clarita's SeaMaster Cruises Personal Cruise Expert Participates in Annual Convention to Make Travelers' Next Cruise Even Better

SeaMaster Cruises Expert Returns from New England/Maritime Provinces Cruise;
Announces Results of Local Pajama Drive for Children in Need

Santa Clarita, CA 9/29/2008- Santa Clarita's area travelers have an even better, more knowledgeable local resource the next time they book a cruise vacation. That's because Judy Butts, franchise owner of SeaMaster Cruises in Santa Clarita, just returned from a 7-day networking convention aboard Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas. Butts not only took the time to explore some of New England and Maritime Canada's finest port cities, but spent more than 50 hours in educational seminars, networking sessions and other activities geared toward improving the overall experience her clients receive when planning their cruise vacations.

Butts has been advising Santa Clarita -area residents on cruise vacation options since 2007, and her personal passion for cruising goes back much further. "The SeaMaster Cruises Networking Convention provided me with the opportunity to draw on the vast cruise background of SeaMaster Cruises and my colleagues from across the United States," said Butts. "This convention has provided me all the latest insights into the continually evolving cruise industry, and I plan to share this with my clients."

In addition to classroom-style seminars and workshops Butts attended, she also had ample time to explore the port cities of Portland and Bar Harbor, Maine; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and St. John, New Brunswick. "My favorite experience was the lighthouse at Peggy's Cove in Novia Scotia.""And yes, it may sound like a vacation, but I am now even more equipped to answer questions my clients may have about sailing New England and Canada. Hands down, this is the best way to see the historic lighthouses that dot the rocky coast, view the foliage, and experience the colorful, coastal charm of this region."

Local SeaMaster Cruises Expert Attends Networking Convention / Pajama Drive Results Announced

Buttsalso announced results of the pajama drive she participated in leading up to the convention. She joined forces with the Pajama Program to donate new sleepwear and books to children in need. Butts, along with other SeaMaster Cruises franchise owners across the country helped raise nearly 3,000 pairs of pajamas and all donations were delivered to each franchise owner's nearest Pajama Program chapter.
