Hart High cheerleaders share their spirit
Contributed by: Emily Chiominto on 8/24/2007

The Hart High School Cheerleaders held their annual Spirit Day on Saturday August 18 in the Hart Gym. Ninety-five girls from the community , ages 5 to 13, participated.

The Hart cheerleaders taught the girls cheers and a dance routine. Everyone played games and enjoyed a pizza lunch. At the end of the day, all the girls performed for parents and friends.

The participants left with framed photographs, spirit day T-shirts and an invitation to cheer at the first Hart High school football game of the season at COC.

It was a fun day for all and a successful fundraiser for the Hart High School cheerleaders. Spirit day has been a tradition for at least 15 years. It helps raise money to support the cheerleading program.

After a successful competition season last year, which included being named CIF State Champions, the Hart cheerleaders are working to continue their winning tradition.
