SCV Special Olympics Seeks Spring Coaches

The Santa Clarita Valley Special Olympics is looking for spring coaches in a variety of sports.

To participate as a Volunteer Coach, no experience is required, only a willingness to learn, lead and mentor athletes! You will attend weekly practice instruction and work with athletes reminding them about concepts delivered during instruction, help out with drills and practices, and encourage athletes.

Returning and Veteran Coaches: Please make sure to sign up with us again this year so that we may put you on the list and confirm that you are returning
for this season. Coaches need to be 14 years of age or older.

The following sports are in need of coaches and meet the following dates/times:
GOLF
Monday & Saturday, 5:30 - 7:15pm (Mon) 3:00-6:00pm (Sat)
Dates: 1/22-6/9/2007
Location: Vista Valencia Golf Course

SWIMMING
Saturday, 9:15 - 10:30am, 10:30 - 11:45am
Dates: 2/24 - 6/9/2007
Location: Santa Clarita Park Pool

TRACK
Saturday, 9 - 10:30am
Dates: 3/10 - 6/9/2007
Location: Saugus High School

BOCCE
Saturday, 9 - 10:15am, 10:45 - noon
Dates: 2/24 - 6/9/2007
Location: LARC Ranch

BASKETBALL
Wednesday, 6 - 7:30pm, 7:30 - 9pm
Dates: 2/21 - 6/9/2007
Location: SCV Sports Complex & LARC Ranch

TENNIS
Sunday, 3 - 4:15pm
Dates: 2/25 - 6/9/2007
Location: Paseo Club

RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS
Thursday, 7 - 8:30pm
Dates: 3/8 - 6/9/2007
Location: Wallers GymJam Academy

receive further information regarding practices, meetings, and competitions.
