Santa Clarita law firm Mehta & Mann will serve as Title Sponsor for the 3rd Annual Zonta Foundation Golf Tournament at Robinson Ranch on May 19, 2008. "We are thrilled and honored to be the title sponsor for Zonta's annual golf tournament this year," said Michele Mann. "I first became involved with Zonta in high school as a member of the Z Club, a community service club for high school girls sponsored by Zonta International," explained Mann. Zonta's Third Annual Golf Tournament willfeature 18 holes of golf on the Valley Course at Robinson Ranch, a hot BBQ lunch, a hosted cocktail hour, and an awards dinner. Trophies will be awarded to the Best Men's, Best Women's and Best Mixed Teams. There also will be a raffle for sports prizes, and a live auctionfeaturing a week at a beautiful Maui beach home and golf at The Ojai Valley Inn, among other items.

The Zonta Club of SCV comprises professional and business women who seek to improve the health and welfare of women and girls through service, advocacy and awareness. As members of Zonta International, a non-governmental organization (NGO) member of the United Nations, the SCV club joins 33,000 members in more than 1200 clubs in 67 countries. The Zonta Club of SCV, founded in 1974,sponsors its own service projects, including Healthy Women's Day, its annual free breast cancer screening for uninsured and underinsured women, and Healthy Kids Club, a mentoring program for middle school girls, and the Virginia Wrage Grants for women re-entering the workforce. Zonta volunteers also support other Santa Clarita charities with over 4,000 hours of volunteer time annually, scholarships, and community grants to organizations including the Santa Clarita Valley Youth Project, Girl Scouts of Joshua Tree Council, the SCV Committee on Aging/SCV Senior Center, and the Foundation for Children's Dental Health.
