WHEN TO THROW ANOTHER CLUB

Saturday golf game......Dick, Tom, Rick and Andy. Dick teeing off on the 14th hole proceeds to hit the ball out of bounds in the river. Naturally a two stroke penalty and he has to hit another ball from the tee.

Dick upset, goes to his bag to get another ball. The rest of the group, sensing Dick's frustration are politely quiet. Dick hits his 2nd. ball which lands at about the same spot as the 1st. one....in the river, out of bounds....again total silence from the rest of the group.

Dick in total frustration throws his club towards the hole. The club hits the ground, bounces a couple of times and rolls just past the white out of bounds marker. Breaking the total silence of the other three....Andy announces to Dick that he has to throw another club, as the first one went out of bounds....rules are rules.
