Pep Rally for Cowboy Football Champions

The Canyon High School ASB will host a Pep Rally for its CIF Division 1, Southern Section Champion football team from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at Route 66 Classic Grill, 18730 Soledad Canyon Road, Canyon Country.

The Canyon team will be playing in the first State Championship game held in 79 years at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Home Depot Center in Carson. They play De La Salle High School of Concord, Calif.

The Canyon High Cheerleaders and Marching Band will be on hand at the rally to send the Canyon Cowboys off in style. Members of the Santa Clarita City Council and the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce will also be in attendance to demonstrate the community's support.
