Santa Clarita, Calif. - Nearly 100 supporters are expected to attend a viewing party for the first Vice Presidential Debate this Thursday October 2, 2008 at the new Santa Clarita Valley Republican Headquarters located in the Valencia Industrial Center.

As part of the National PARTY FOR THE PRESIDENT, hosted by grass root supporters throughout the country, this local event is hosted by Errol Valladares, a long time resident of Santa Clarita.

Billed as "Support SARAH PALIN in her Vice Presidential Debate!" many Santa Clarita supporters started to RSVP for the event within a few days after Sarah Palin's nomination by John McCain.

"There is so much excitement for this Debate Party that many participants have asked to volunteer and get involved...and with Sarah Palin visiting California this week, the supporters are calling in, asking about her big rally on Saturday" stated Errol . "The response from supporters was great, but with Sarah Palin coming to Southern California for a couple of days, now the response is overwhelming!"

Guests will show their support by watching the debate, talking about the issues, and of course, discuss the current economic crises. There will be snacks, beverages, yard signs and bumper stickers available. One of the items in high demand are the hot pink McCain-Palin bumper stickers! There will also be a drawing for pink Palin shirts and pink Palin caps.

As a special treat, a McCain-Palin supporter will be singing a "Sarah Palin" song for the guests attending the event!
