The SCVSeniorCenter will begin a Tuesday evening Sushi Class on May 1 from 5-7 p.m. The instructor, Mrs.
Haru Nikaido
, will teach the making of California Rolls (comprised of rice, cucumber, avocado, and imitation crab); class size will be limited to 15 students per session. Costs will be $3 for seniors, $6 for non-seniors, and $2 for the mats needed in making sushi. To make the required reservation, call Elaine at the SeniorCenter, 259-9444, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The Senior Center is located at 22900 Market St., Newhall.
