Execs to get "locked up" for charity
Contributed by: valleynews.com/for MDA on 8/29/2007

On Wednesday, October 3, the Muscular Dystrophy Association will be hosting its annual executive Santa Clarita lock-up. Executives, professionals, and city officials will be going 'behind bars' for one hour to serve time for Jerry's Kids.

Executives will be handcuffed and whisked away from their place of work and taken to the 'jailhouse' at the Outback Steakhouse. Jailbirds will
get to enjoy Outback Steakhouse's version of bread and water, network
with all the other executives behind bars, take a mug shot picture, turn
in their bail and then be whisked back to work. Each jailbird has a bail set at
$1,950, which sends three of Jerry's Kids to MDA summer camp at
Painted Turtle and Loyola Marymount University.

MDA provides many comprehensive services to over 6,000 families just in the Los Angeles area. We provide support groups; repair of wheelchair, leg braces, and research at the most renowned universities and most importantly for our kids, a weeklong summer camp where some kids for the first time get to enjoy fishing, dancing, arts & crafts, all modified for disability.

For more information about MDA or the executive lock-up, please contact us at (818) 981-8200. Hope to see you behind bars!
