Parenting children with Attention-Deficit Disorder

What causes A.D.D.? This is a question that many parents ask once their child has been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder. A free workshop for parents, teachers and interested adults will be held Thurs. Nov. 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the council chambers at Santa Clarita City Hall, 23920 Valencia Boulevard, Santa Clarita.
This workshop will explore the possible root causes of A.D.D. Course instructors Margaret McDonald, M.D., a family practitioner in mind/body medicine and therapist Steven C. Kassell, a neurofeedback specialist, will discuss treatment options, including alternatives to medication. Space is limited.
