Race night for the Miss Santa Clarita Valley Scholarship Pageant contestants at MB2 Raceway last night was a smash.
"Girls Night Out" reached new speeds as the pageants beauties dawned race helmets and safety belts, taking to the race circuit in this fun yet competitive showcase event.
The popular indoor racing facility's competition platform varies distinctively from the pageant stage however, these eye pleasing contestants showcased the same determination and prowess that fuels there desire to represent the Santa Clarita Valley, as Miss SCV 2008.
The ladies' sponsors, community leaders, friends, family and the public attended the evening's festivities, rooting to victory their favorite contestants.
Post-race awards were presented to the top three fastest competitors in an MB2 Raceway podium celebration.
The Miss SCV Scholarship Fund is a nonprofit educational scholarship fund for young women to further their education. The representatives/titleholders of the Miss SCV Scholarship Program perform more than 300 hours of community service each year.
The 2008 spring pageant will be held on April 20 at the Hyatt Valencia.
