The Repertory East Playhouse will open the highly anticipated "81 Series" at 8 p.m. Friday, April 18, with the critically acclaimed drama "Necessary Targets" by
Eve Ensler and Sponsored, in part , by Servpro of Santa Clarita Valley.

"Necessary Targets" is a groundbreaking play about women and war and the resilience of the human spirit.
In her first new work since the award winning "Vagina Monologues," Ensler tells the story of two American women who go to Bosnia to help women confront their memories of war and emerge deeply changed themselves.
"Necessary Targets
" has been staged in New York by
Meryl Streep,
Angelica Houston and
Calista Flockhart, and performed in Sarajevo with
Glenn Close and
Marisa Tomei.
"Necessary Targets" will run through May 3.
Show times are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sundays.
