For a one-time event on June 8, the First Presbyterian Church, Newhall, in the Santa Clarita Valley, will be the site of a lot of rocking, jiving and wailing.

The church, located at 24317 N Newhall Ave., is hosting a musical tour from rock & roll to the swinging 40's. The show features the church's choir, Second Service Praise Band, bell choir and a big help from the Ojai Community Chorus and Ojai Swing Band.

The show will start at 5 p.m., and doors will open by 4:30 p.m.

The suggested cost of the tickets is a donation of $20.

Jack Irwin, coordinator of the event, insists the musical tour should not be missed. He stated, "Our Praise Band and choir are good, but the Ojai Swing Band is a professional band and will give a great performance. This band plays with professional singers in professional productions. We are lucky to have them for this event."

Irwin noted that the seating for the event is limited.
