Local singer/songwriter
Trish Lester will host an evening of acoustic folk and pop music on Friday, April 18, at Rattlesnake Slim's coffeehouse/saddle & tack shop in Newhall.
Joining Lester (
www.TrishLester.com) will be legendary singer/songwriter/ guitarist
Tom Renaud (
www.myspace.com/TomRenaud). The pair will share their heartfelt and humorous original songs, along with an array of favorite traditional and popular music.
The evening's entertainment will start at 7 p.m.at Santa Clarita's newest venue for live music. Rattlesnake Slim's (

With a style likened to
John Denver,
Mary Chapin Carpenter and
Kate Wolf, Lester is a contemporary folk artist with a comfortable style, whose original songs have listeners laughing, crying and humming along.

Renaud has written more than 200 songs and shared his music for 35 years, communicating with people of all ages.
