SCV folksinger will be "Diva" at Kulak's Woodshed

On Friday evening, August 17, Santa Clarita singer/songwriter Trish Lester will perform at Indie Diva Night at Kulak's Woodshed, 5230½ Laurel Canyon Blvd., North Hollywood.

Other artists on the bill include Ashley Maher, Anna Montgomery and Jane Bolduc. Lester will open the show at 8 p.m., sharing witty and wise contemporary folk music from her 2007 CD release, "Plymouth Belvedere." While entrance to Kulak's is free, a $10 donation is suggested.

Kulak's is a live acoustic music listening room, serving up a cozy, quirky atmosphere and great live performances by artists ranging from emerging independent talent to number-one hit writers and Grammy winners.
