News stories on suicide, violence and antidepressants are in the media everyday. The antidepressant Zyprexa and Big Pharma scandals are in the newspapers daily. Every parent and teenager in America needs to see this film and hear from these families who experienced having antidepressant drugs prescribed to their children. The families dramatically describe what the doctors and psychiatrists failed to tell them and what information they withheld resulting in sometimes-fatal side effects from these medications.

Emmy award winning director Robert Manciero tells us "this film lets families directly impacted take the center stage. They share their stories, speaking from their hearts and it is through their experiences that a critical understanding is gained about the use of these medications".

Vividly shot with real families, the film expertly captures the arguments in the ongoing controversy surrounding suicide, violence and antidepressants affecting millions of families around the world.

Joy Hancock, author of Prescription for Madness, had this to say about the film "Robert Manciero effectively delved into each child's individual antidepressant nightmare. Jace Vek's original score provides a dramatic yet soothing background. The home video clips interspersed throughout the film intensifies the raw emotion underlying the film. The children in the film are every parent's child, your niece or nephew, grandson or granddaughter, brother or sister.

ParticipateNow.net, is coordinating community screenings of the film around the country focusing on fundraising events for local communities. Their website provides a wealth of information on antidepressants and how you can ParticipateNow. The DVD is available for purchase at www.prescriptionsuicide.com.
