The Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) and the California Institute of Arts (CalArts) are pleased to present
Earthquakes & Aftershocks, Posters from the CalArts Graphic Design Program 1986-2004. The exhibition features posters created by graphic design students over nearly two decades. The 64 posters in the exhibition represent the visual sophistication, wit and experimental vision that typifies CalArts' design program. They will be seen for the first time in an American gallery.
Artwork will be available for viewing beginning Friday, May 4, 2007 until Sunday June 24, 2007. The opening reception will take place on Sunday, May 6 from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m.
