The La Crescenta Falcons 10-year-old baseball team, preparing for its Cooperstown, N.Y. tournament, made it to the championship in the Mother's Day tournament in Hacienda Heights.
The boys made it to the final game behind the pitching of
Chris Reik
and
Kyle Currie
and flawless defense by
Marco Angrisani, Cameron Wetherby
and
Gonzalo Rios
.
Greg Stupakis
turned a timely double play at SS.
In the final game,
Harrison Pyros
had a triple for 2 RBI's.
The team will play Memorial weekend at Big League Dreams and is headed to New York on June 13.
