Animals who are rescued from shelters are often looking for homes long after the rescue. That is the story for beautiful
Clarabella.
Only one-year-old, Clarabella was pulled from the East Valley Shelter after an e-mail plea went out to rescue organizations with a picture of sadness. She was very depressed and had lost all hope. She had been in the shelter for over a month and was very pregnant. The puppies were aborted when the spay surgery was done.
After the rescue, she was very shy in the beginning and wouldn't leave her bed for days.
Today, Clarabella is spayed, micro-chipped and totally healthy. She is a sweet terrier mix who does well with other dogs and loves to snuggle. She is also house-trained and crate-trained.
Now, she is running around and playing with the other dogs. She may be part Whippit or Greyhound as she leaps like a gazelle when she runs. Clarabella enjoys going on errands and is becoming more and more confident every day.
