Parent education classes are free at GCC

A free parent education program for preschoolers and their parents is offered this summer by Glendale Community College, beginning the week of June 16 and continuing for six weeks.

Parents attend class with their children and participate in activities designed to stimulate the development of young children and help parents develop skills and strategies for positive and effective parenting.

Registration is currently in progress and can be done online at www.glendale.edu/ce. For more information, call 818-243-5196.

There is a $10 parking fee for classes, which are held at the Life Skills Building, located off Mountain Street, near the Glendale (2) Freeway.
